Sustainable design means using materials that are either diverted from the textile waste stream, or are produced using sustainable practices such as fibershed.

Textile Waste

The average person in the United States generates over 70 pounds of textile waste. We reduce the amount of textile waste that enters the landfill by upcycling it and giving it new life in our artwork and products.

Fibershed

Fibershed materials are part of an end-to-end lifecycle that promotes environmentally sustainable processes and regional life cycles. We use fibershed materials when possible if we are unable to use textile waste for our artwork and products.
